Right in stride with the new year, Pantone has released its 2017 Color of the Year: Greenery. A zesty shade of yellow-green, this color is anything short of dull.

If a bright green room doesn’t quite strike your fancy, consider using this naturally pleasing shade as an accent or pop in an otherwise white room, or consider this: frame those luscious green views outside your window to really bring this color to life.

It’s no surprise to us that Pantone’s 2017 Color of the Year is Greenery,” says Christine Marvin, director of corporate strategy for Marvin Windows and Doors. “Homeowners are increasingly seeking a connection with nature and looking for new ways to bring the outdoors in. Larger, more expansive windows and doors are one way to do just that, bringing in natural light vibrant colors found in the environment and a source of fresh air – in essence, letting nature itself be the source of this refreshing green hue in a space.”
